A Lifetime of Experience(s)

I became a Law Clerk for Kranis & Kranis at age 14. Richard Kranis was the son of Jack, who was a local Councilman. This opportunity permitted me to learn the practice to a large extent. I appeared before many Judges which totally helped fuel my interest in law and gave me the allowance to know almost every new Clerk to the Court, which years later allowed me so many advantages in the Court for my clients.

I was admitted to Cumberland School of Law in Homewood Alabama. The School was a great legal education. After a lonely year of spending time away from the city I knew and loved (Brooklyn, NY), I decided to return home and finish out my education at New York Law School.

By 1978, I had the chance to own my own legal practice and for the first time in my life I felt extremely proud of myself to call 312 Court Street my new professional home.

It is here that I met the love of my life and am thrilled to report we are still together after 45 amazing adventurous years. We share a robust family of children and grandchildren that illuminate our lives daily.

It has been a great privilege to be honored as “Man of the Year” for the Santora Scholarship, a fund memorializing the brave Firefighter from 9/11, Christopher Santora. My career as a Legal Servant has afforded me a rich life with incredible relationships I never would’ve imagined as a young boy; along with opportunities to travel beyond my wildest dreams, all while doing what I love most, LAW!

My adventures have taken me down many roads, one being when one of my daughters sent me on a skydiving journey I’ll never forget. Read more about this mindblowing experience here: https://www.qgazette.com/articles/the-skys-the-limit-for-a-birthday-gift/

In my free time, I enjoy moments spent with friends & family, writing for the Gazette, travel, history, and anything that ignites my brain.
